Dr. Peter Biribwa is a practising Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon in Kenya and got his medical degree from the University of Nairobi.
After serving as an intern and resident at the Kenyatta National Hospital and Aga Khan Hospital in Kenya, he completed his residency in Plastics, Aesthetics and reconstructive surgery at the University of Nairobi.
He has also undertaken a course in Microsurgery at Sefako Makgatho University in South Africa, Under the tutelage of Prof. Dr. Stanley Khainga and Dr. Ferdinard Nangole. He is now known to be an expert in the field of Reconstructive surgery, helping out patients of all ages regardless of background.
He performs surgeries such as cleft lip and palate repairs, congenital anomaly corrective surgeries, injuries suffered from burns and road accidents, contracture release, maxillofacial surgeries, body contouring surgeries, breast reduction and augmentation as well as cosmetic surgery procedures, particularly Botox, fillers and lipofilling.
Dr. Peter has been a volunteer surgeon with Mission Restore since 2016.He has trained and facilitated several medical camps and outreaches in Mwanza where he performed limb reconstructive surgeries, groin and scalp flaps following contracture releases.
Dr. Peter is currently working as a consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Coast General Hospital where he is involved in clinical practice and training general surgery residents. He is the founder and director of Ace Plastic Surgery clinic specializing in Plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Coast.
